Donate
The laps are the fundraiser. Every dollar raised goes to Legacy, which supports the families of veterans who have died or been injured as a result of their service.
No money changes hands on this site. Sponsorships are collected on Legacy's own fundraising page, or in cash on the printed card below.
-
Sponsor the school
If you just want to give, the school's page on Legacy's site takes the donation and issues the receipt: support.legacy.com.au/fundraisers/hurlstoneag. Everything raised under it counts towards the Hurlstone total.
-
Make your own page
Runners raise money under that same page, so donations to you can be seen on their own and still add to the school's total. Open the link above and click the red Join button.
-
One page for the whole team
A team registers once, under one email. Whoever does it enters their own name, then puts the team name in the Alternative Display Name field โ that is the name sponsors will see. This is separate from registering to run, which happens at Register a team.
-
Put your page on the poster
Legacy emails you the link to your new page. Turn it into a QR code โ the instructions suggest me-qr.com โ and drop the code into the empty square on the poster below. Print it, and each team has its own poster to show sponsors; send it with the link if you are asking people online.
-
Taking cash
Not everyone will scan a code. The second page of the poster document is a sponsorship card: your name and roll class at the top, a line per sponsor, and a total at the bottom. Print it, fill it in as you collect, and hand the card in with the money โ your House Captains will say where and when.
